1. Who are we

This Privacy Policy explains how ForPlay NZ (ForPlay, we, us, our) collects, uses, stores and shares your personal information when you use www.forplay.co.nz or buy from us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

2. What we collect

When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number. We also hold your order history and any correspondence you have with us. We do not store your full payment card details; payment is handled by our payment provider.

We understand that purchases of this nature are sensitive. We treat your information accordingly and only use it for the purposes described in this policy.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, manage your account, respond to enquiries, meet our legal obligations, and, where you have opted in, send you marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

We share your information only as needed to provide our service: with our fulfilment and logistics partners to pick, pack and deliver your order; with courier companies for delivery; and with our payment provider to process payment. Some of these providers are located overseas, including in the United States. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by comparable privacy safeguards, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Storage, security and retention

Your information is stored securely and access is limited to those who need it to provide our service. We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this policy or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Under 18s

This Site is restricted to adults. You must be 18 or over to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
